Moving shop to subdomain

Hello,

What are the steps for moving the shop to a sub domain (same host) can I just transfer files and update the paths in config files and any in the database?

Depends on where your shop is located. In the root? In a folder?

Let's say you have a folder "modified"
your domain points to this folder, but now you want wo move the shop to a subdomain, because you need the domain f.ex. for a landingpage.

- make a new folder "landingpage"
- install whatever you need for your domain in this folder
- at your hosting account create the subdomain, f.ex. "shop" and point it to the folder "modified"
- point the domain to the folder "landingpage"
- change the files "includes/configure.php" and "admin/includes/configure.php" from the domain name to the subdomain name.

Normally, you don't have to move your shop files for it.
