Shopping cart issue

We have integrate third party credit card payment gateway. After made the transaction redirected to our success page, But shopping cart details is not cleared.

we have another module Invoice order. After successfully made this order. It is cleared the shopping cart details. we are call the same success page (checkout_success.php) but after redirect from credit card payment gateway it is not clear the shopping cart details.

How to solve this problem?
