images not showing

Hello,
i imported some products directly into the database. i changed the following tables products,products_description ,products_to_categories,products_images. the images are well named. Unfortunately i can't get the images to show on the site. I get noimage.gif  at every imported product even though the image is showing perfectly well in administration panel. Can someone help me please. do i need to change something at in the database for the images to show? thank you

hey there...

did you run the image-processing after your database import? You can find it in the Admin Panel in Modules->XT-Modules->XT-Imageprocessing-New - Variante B ( EMPFOHLEN )
run this and don't interrupt it!

Can you please attach the Image "/home/..../public_html/images/product_images/original_images/3423.jpg" in this topic?

The message says, that the file is not a valid JPF-file!

Never mind, I found the solution, there was some space at the end of each image name. i simply deleted them.

Seems to be a problem with the uploaded files.

That could be:
1.) The files are corrupted
2.) The file were corrupted during upload - What progamm do you use for uploading? Does another programm do a better job?
3.) The files are no jpg`s, or on the other hand cannot  be recognized as such. Maybe they are jpg2000 formatted?
4.) Something else is Wrong.

Please check the first three points, if the problem still exists, we have to analyze point 4.

EDIT: Thats point one - the files were corrupted, even if it was only the filename.
